Carnotaurus
- Carnotaurus means "meat-eating bull", as it had horns that looked similar to a modern-day bull's.
- It measured about 30 ft in length, about 10 ft 7 in tall at the hips, and weighed about 1,600 kg.
- Carnotaurus lived in Patagonia, Argentina during the the Late Cretaceous period - roughly 70 to 100 million years ago.
- Its most distinctive features were two thick horns above the eyes, and the extremely reduced forelimbs with four fingers.
- The eyes of the Carnotaurus faced forward, which was unusual in a dinosaur, and may mean that it could estimate distance easily, just like human sight.
